Tending the Threads

A Somatic Circle for Connection, Co-Regulation & Being Witnessed

Don’t do all the inner work alone.

So much of healing and personal growth asks us to turn inward: to understand ourselves, regulate ourselves, work through our patterns, and find our own way forward.

But we are also relational beings.

Sometimes something entirely different becomes possible when another person is simply there with us.

Tending the Threads is an experiential gathering exploring the subtle ways we connect to ourselves and to one another.

Through gentle somatic practices, simple partnered exercises, conversation, and opportunities to witness and be witnessed, we’ll slow things down enough to notice what is actually happening in the body when we are in connection.

What happens when someone gives you their full attention?

What happens when you don’t have to perform, explain, help, or take care of the person across from you?

Can you notice when you move toward connection and when you pull away?

Can you remain connected to yourself while also being connected to someone else?

There is nothing to accomplish here.

You are always welcome to participate at your own pace, modify an exercise, or simply observe.

The foundation of this work is creating an environment of balance, curiosity, and settling into your own nervous system rhythm. A place where you can experiment, reflect, and discover what unfolds when you don’t have to carry your inner work alone.

We heal in relationship.

There are things we can learn about ourselves in solitude.

And there are things we can only discover in the presence of another.

Tending the Threads is a place to practice both: staying connected to yourself while allowing yourself to be in connection with others.

No experience with somatic work is necessary.

Come exactly as you are.
